@rene there is nothing the ROs can do here, no. Clearly Jarrod has taken someone's voicing their happiness at reaching 2k in this room as a signal, but I don't see how room rules could limit his decision.

For all we know Jarrod will just deny the room interaction was the reason.

OK, I do know you guys watching this behavior but bounties is a call from the user. How they make up their mind is not something I can and (pesonally) want to control.

This point of view is my own, btw. It might not be shared by all RO's or how the regulars in this room would like to see it.

Rep on the other hand... Documentation is simply a collection of mostly well-known processes & mechanics, that can be found on google with ease (in most cases).

To be able to gather alot of rep on main.. takes a tad more effort.

But if you copy them to SO, they become special.

I get the general idea. I think some canonicals would look better as documentation than as Q&A. And some software would definitely benefit from better documentation. (Yes, I'm looking at you exist-db.) But it seems documentation right now is just duplicating content.
