Well since there's no code in the question and it's a debugging question, I wouldn't say it's unreproducible or a typo.

the way I see it, for it be unreproducible, we would need to try to reproduce it ourselves, and we can't due to a lack of example

@TimCastelijns I don't have an issue with the bit wise operators. It was more of how to store the information and work back from the final variable they want to the beginning. I think I have a recursive solution that will work. I am trying to code it right now.

@DavidArenburg - Thanks. No problem. Just chugging away slowly. It's no different from marking student assignments, which I'm also doing at the moment. Just assessed ~100 compilers. Copy editing a few SO postings is a breeze by comparison!

Because the guidance is to only edit a few per day as every edit pushes question to the front page.

@DavidG In the long term there are 7,855 to be copy-edited with the [data] tag, but it started at >12,000. Trying not to do it too fast to avoid bumping up too many to the front page at the same time (as you know..). Already done [delete] and [define] and some other bigger chunks. Yes, I am aware elf the guidelines, and do them in small batches chosen by sub-searches of the whole group to avoid victimising any one set of readers etc.

@DavidG Expecting it to be done automatically completely underestimates the task. On each one someone just picked the wrong tag. To do it properly the whole question has to be read, understood and the appropriate tag added in the place of the incorrect one. The wrong tag got there because people type a space, for example, the type "data structure" and get the two tags [data][structure]. Not a mechanical process...

If it is going to take multiple people then it should be discussed on meta to get community consensus.

@DavidG If that is a big enough concern then it should be on meta. If it is a 10 question tag with its last activity 3 months ago there really isn't a need as once all the post are gone the tag we get removed the next day.

Q: What does it mean to "burninate" a tag?

There are requests to "burninate" tags all over the place! What does this really mean; what happens to a burninated tag? How is it different than removing a tag or black-listing a tag? Would it be useful to include this definition in the Stack Overflow Glossary?
