there's still the keylogger which they ordered via Amazon (presumably with their credit/debit card), FBI wouldn't have much trouble gaining access to records of who purchased the model of keylogger (which the operating system would've probably logged).

This is hardly "cheating" than it is "I was bored so I ruined my associate professor's career". It hardly matters that you posted your question via TOR, there's still other ways for the police/FBI to track you down (your Amazon order of the keylogger, for example). — bob 2 mins ago

Well... close flags just put crap in the CVQ, and the CVQ is FIFO.

Being that there is usually between 8k and 10k posts in the CVQ at any given point in time, I doubt very many flags do anything other than add to the size of the queue.

IIRC close votes take longer to age away than flags, so they are more likely to be seen.

That said, you should still flag stuff for other reasons, I just don't see much point in flagging for closure.
