Sure, they come to the site to learn, optionally, but they post a question and expect an answer to the question. They expect to learn about the thing they posted, not necessarily how to ask a question or how to format a post.

@Autar It won't go well if you stop your lecture and tell everyone how they're all going to take notes. Some people can get away with it; e.g. banning laptops. But try that with a group of adults (making a distinction between people who have graduated, had a job, managed their own life for a few years and those still in university/college) and you'll often get resistance or even hostility.
