@copy this is part of my issue though. It goes into Ethereum, which in my understanding (I could be wrong) is a type of implementation of the bitcoin blockchain architecture. Most of the implementations I've read about are just different features and chain sizes and stuff like that, so why would this book be marketed as a Bitcoin introduction but only introduce one "flavor"

if you jam a frequency, you just agree on another one. The only attacks possible that governments might not easily counterbalance would be on each single transmission device (or reception, but there are far more), and that's pretty much impossible
