thanks @vapor I agree. We do pay for the google search .api. They are discontinuing the service. When that happens I'll have to make a new site search. I've always seen google search results look the same, screen wide, blue links, grey description.

Looking at the sample code, i don't see what you mean by it not being branding or ad free, this sample shows that it gives you full control.

I suspect the compiler sees you setting a value twice with no setter so it ignored the first. that or you just don't see the action on the first because you run the second immediately.
