Here's another: When you're constantly belligerent with your children, his self confidence and perception of himself will erode and he'll resent you, want to become a woman at age 7 to fight your grasp on him or he tries to kill himself because he has no self worth and someone on facebook called him a fatty. @bitten my father was/is manic depressive (tmk there is no 'cure', but you can get meds) and I saw what the dark road looks like, which is probably why I have a hard time seeing mild depression as depression and not just anxiety
