i'm taking world religions this semester cause i wanna learn more and get a better perspective of the world

my adhd has been so bad the past 2 days, I can't think at all clearly, my mind is moving at like 100mph and it has zero direction. I keep thinking I have a problem to solve, but the problem in my life rn is unsolvable lol. The only solution is not solving it and moving on, it's driving me insaaaaaaaaaaane

oh nice man, I'd highly recommend world religions. It was my favourite religion course I ever took

yeah i realized all i really know about religion is what i've been taught growing up so i'm excited to learn more

my favourite part was realizing that they're all 90% the same

and therefore all equally false

or equally true/valid, whichever way you want to look at it

personally it's easy for me to see both sides

yeah it's very much a personal choice thing

however, I feel like personally at least, it takes a little too much agency away from individuals and ends up having a bit of a negative impact in that regard

but everyone has their own degree of how closely they follow a religion/belief, so it's definitely not a blanket thing

I tracked my run yesterday for the first time and it was 3km, not like, running the whole time

but I thought that was neat

so I have to assume the drumming is what's stopping that

yeah I think a decent part of it is water but I've also lost some fat right off my belly

I guess it kind of checks out? I'm already a little calorie deficient i think, and each run seems to be about 200 calories gone

yeah I've also been doing yoga and walking up/down 11 flights of stairs instead of using my elevator all week olol so im probably going a little too ham

how've you been finding your meds working this week for you?

whats your consensus on them so far?

they're pretty nice tbh. only thing bad is that they don't last for much longer than 5 hours, and i was having some jaw tension that made the right side of my jaw hurt for a few days. i think the tension is wearing off now

i have an appointment tomorrow, i'm gonna see if i can get on extended release

ahhh yeah the extended release is kind of a must for that, should also help with the jaw tension as well, and should make you feel less.. "high" if you feel that way now at all

I had to make a similar change with mine when I started them, as well as I kept decreasing the dose until I was at a good level where I got the benefits with little side effects

Gum also seems to help a bit with the jaw tension, or a mouth guard (lol)

about the gum and mouth guard

hopefully the extended release lets you get 2 birds stoned at once

i'm hoping

this one is a bit random lmao, but I also found pen spinning to really help ease some of my fidgeting/jaw clenching with those meds

i've never gotten good at pen spinning

haha nice, not quite as good but definitely close enough without having to learn anything
