I have a similar setup and one of the USB-C ports is a bit.. well.. Appley

On that one port my USB devices work but my screen will sometimes work fine, sometimes not work, sometimes have weird visual distortions like no colour etc

@Graeme well, I have absolutely no issue beside the 100% reproducible fact, that the color temperature for my external display is different based on the sole fact if the lid of the mac is closed or open
