Unless the class of the Gist is not an activity, and if that is the case then you should wonder why you want to switch activities in a non-activity class

@Ahmad Murat had told me that juniors in berlin get between 35 and 40, but given your experience I'd consider 45-50 to be good? in france I know that for new grads it's ~36-38k, if you're lucky 40, so 45 in France would be considered very good and rare for a junior
good US companies usually pay +10 - 20% of the local market
so it's better to ask them "what's the package for this role" this way you don't base your negotiation on the average market pay and end up lower than their actual salary range
yeah, one answered me once by "tell me what you think you're worth?" I told him, he looked like he was thinking and that it was too much, then some time later he called me and said "ok, we give you what you asked for + benefit A and B and C"
I then knew I was below their range even though I was asking for more than the markets average :D
the ideal is when you have a friend or someone you know on the inside who tells you what's their salary ranges and the terms they use to qualify a job position, sometimes they tell you we'll give you "level A" with salary X, you don't know what level A is so you don't care
but you later realize that the headcount was Level A and B and that the salary corresponds to a level, so had you just asked for level B, you'd have gotten a higher salary
