Folks, I've read about 9-patch in an Android book today. I haven't heard about 9-patch before. Is 9-patch a purely Android thing, or is it used in other ecosystems too?
this is what i've got so far.. fizzbuzz, implement / walk me through either an LRU cache, or an algorithm for cycle detection in a doubly linked list... and then android questions.. service vs. async task, activity vs. fragment, common caching patterns for adapters, adapters vs. recycler - what else?

part-time til he defends his masters, then full time... insanely smart dude, but not sure on his android skills, so this has to at least test the basics
the problem with most masters students i've worked with is that they're super smart, but they've rarely put their code into any kind of production, or worked on teams, so the code isn't very nice.
i was a research summer student at my u under a really smart prof that started writing some program for simulations, and the students had to finish it... we rewrote it - it was spaghetti when we got it

servired/4B security sistems (enforced by EU) require auth handshakes and direct connection to the bank's TPV bbdd.
all credit/debit cards are enforced to use PIN system too, and the widthdrawal of money is instant.
