I think on one hand it's important for people to be held accountable, I also think it lacks the rigors of a court case

Also often times cancel culture isn't that bad. No one is required to be on a TV show. Taking someone off your show for anti-semetic remarks isn't that bad. Cancelling someone's college campus speaking event isn't erasing them from history. Neither is taking down a statue of someone who did terrible things.

It really is, 99/100 times, just holding someone accountable and showing that certain things shouldn't be acceptable and people only get mad because they want those things to be acceptable.
