@CarlAnderson is it possible that your company fixes Trover to allow you to write messages in the same activity where people have commented under the picture otherwise I have to cut my text go back to see what people have written and go forward and paste it and it's just not pleasent, additionally I tired adding @Carl Anderson in the comment but it didn't do anything
Once you add a friend, they appear on your list. The main screen is just your list of friends, thats it. When you click on a friend, it sends them a push that says "Yo!"
Um... I don't know if anyone here read my question before but... in the end I used Fragments and I am quite happy, because I was able to reuse them. And they are less code than my previous solution with views
@zigi for such a simple scenario, views will suffice... slightly more code, slightly more control. But why do that if you can use what google did? :) (Honestly, one of my fragments is just a one liner in onCreateView, but still.. who cares? :) )
@Abdellah Have you ever noticed it randomly scan as if you were scanning a QR code when in fact you didn't scan a QR code..? For instance my phone will be pointing down at my desk about 5 inches away and it will randomly scan + beep as if it scanned a QR code. I don't know how to fix this.
It doesn't happen often, but if its sitting there on for 5-10 mins, it may happen once.
@zigi - @ mentions aren't fully supported in the app yet. We render them properly but you can't create them on the Android app. There's just too many features to try to catch up on right now, but that's one that's on the short list of things to go after.
@zigi and yes, moving comments to be in-line instead of a separate activity is something we should do. I'll create a ticket for it.
"implies that they haven't scan a QR code .. no ?!" Right - but it THINKS there is a QR there. You see there's a camera view and it looks around, but only when you put a QR in front of it does it beep and go to the next screen. Its beeping when there is no QR. Nothing even remotely close to a QR.
It beeped while facing my desk, and my jeans. Theres no QR on either of those :P It's something glitchy with the library
