I will say this: PDO is already OO, if you want add some sugar methods (which personally I feel is probably unnecessary, but I don't know everything) then you should extend it, not decorate it
I have written a PDO wrapper and a class file like a model. So far, it's looking so good! I am just confuse where I should put Try...Catch block - Would it be better to place in PDO wrapper (pdoDatabase.php), mobile.php (model) or test.php?

@I'll-Be-Back See in a way the problem is that you asked the wrong question. The issue is not "How to improve Try...Catch Block" but "how to add whatever functionality it is you want out of that class to PDO". The answer there does make some very good points though.

@JohnBernal Waste hours? I'm sorry but I can not suggest you library_for(PDO, Auth) with these two parameters from top of my head, but I'd say, if you run your own, that will waste you more than just a few hours.
I'd say it does more than just authentication. However, that might not be bad, just saying, because for a "quickier" integration this might add overhead.
@JohnBernal maybe you can say what your authentication needs are. Do you only need auth or do you want to have user-objects, handle password hashing algorythms etc. pp.?

@JohnBernal Okay, you need more than authentication alone. You will have to try different libraries anyway, because you need to do it multiple things. That's just integration, so this is not only about giving some suggestion "that just works", it need to work for your application. That is something only yourself can find out. However, your initial way of handling this is very good: To look for a existing library instead of rolling your own.
@JohnBernal Pear Auth is about authentication mainly, not managing sessions. It supports many backends, see the link. You want more than that (and you do not need all these backends it looks like).
Have you considered using a framework for your application? For example for the Symfony2 framework there is a bundle (library) called FosUserBundle that is about these jobs.

@JohnBernal The framework itself is somewhat small and modular, but many so called bundles exist (that are libraries specific to symfony2). Also it integrates well with the composer package manager. Probably you want to learn about composer first and/or learn how to install symfony2 via composer. You can do a test-project by-side to play around with that. I'd say it's worth. Even if you don't use symfony2, you would learn how to use composer.
I have the error_reporting(-1), enabled, I just didn't showed in the paste, although if I could debug that error I would have done it myself instead of requesting help here.
