@IvankaTodorova The organisation - the organisers went well above and beyond, taking the speakers around Bulgaria on our 'PHP Bus', dedicated speakers room, great venue, theme (gaming theme and they all dressed in super mario outfits), accommodation, everything sorted for speakers including little gifts, free bar, games consoles around the rooms etc. And they even donated any extra money they had left over to a local school.

That'll give you "username|userid", then you can explode on the "|" and it'll give you an array containing username and userid. I did something similar recently (DDD)
$user->verify($credentials, $authenticator)

but was for electronic signatures, not login

user->verify does all the business logic stuff, triggering events etc

authenticator is an interface with a symfonyauthenticator implementation that checks if user exists, pw etc

once you start iterating, sql query is built and executed

not sure if that makes any sense

so you could do $users->setLimit(100)->setOffset(10)->applyConstraints(..)

like a value object where you return a new instance when you modify it

@IvankaTodorova I had that. I learned different ways of doing things, side projects, advanced my knowledge. It's the best time to do it, while being paid for it as well (because obviously your knowledge can also then be applied back onto the company when required)

@Jimbo yeah, I get helped (and tutored) a lot by the other dev who is a lot more experienced than me and have plenty of time to learn new stuffs and do side projects. I'm well paid for a person living in Bulgaria. The thing is that we are not software oriented company and I don't get to know much of the work process that big companies follow. So I hope when I decide to change my job I won't be incapable of getting used to the work environment in the new job. Yeah, Users is a good name. :)

I played CS on a lan party once. I hid behind some wall and got snipered. there was no chance the other guy could have seen me or shot through the wall. he was clearly cheating. never bothered to play again.
