There seems to be a slightly greater focus on continuity, and they go at great lengths to show us how much the characters have changed over the seasons.

@EtiennedeMartel AFAICT, they do that because Hasbro keeps forcing them to Slice of Life episodes rather than doing overarching quest-building.

So if you can't build an overarching Quest, then you have to build Characters.

@Rapptz Peer to Peer, server to client, and other nuances of networking mean C++'s networking library is going to have a lot of ground to cover.

Whether it's sockets or some other abstraction, it's going to be horrendous to write an interface that generalizes any of those.
