Well the the title is pretty much my question; as you know: Windows 8 introduces the usage of Dx3D for it's main interface drawing instead of GDI and will utilize .NET's WPF for it's GUI. Will that mean win32 GUI and GDI/GDI+ will become obsolete eventually? Cheers!
