@rlemon Lisp has a smart way to do it. By default, everything is private. You can export by adding (export 'foo). You can then use (package:foo).

You could also patch zsh's precmd

however, you can run (package::bar) to access bar, even if it wasn't exported. It just means that you're using internal API that is likely to break.

I want to e.g. type ls, and it will run ls through the ssh connection

(I could use sshfs for just ls, but I want every command to be run through the ssh connection)

@KarelG It was deep, deep, deep down within their code. Super niche feature, used once in a very niche place. Super useful in a certain scenario.

I can use readline though, so it's not that bad

Unit tests are sometimes better than documentation. gyp for instance. I started using it, the docs are only a few pages long, but there are a billion test files for me to learn from.
