if i've got a bootstrap typeahead on an input and want to add it to another input with the same class is there a better way to accomplish that than removing all events and data-attributes?

@rlemon im adding new inputs to the page and each one should have a typeahead on the same array. i read declaring typehead multiple times on class doesnt work. currently using: $('.class').off(); $('.class').data('typeahead', (data=null));

basically, before you insert the new element you already have it pulled aside, so apply the typeahead then.

don't try to insert it then blanket apply against the class, that is wasteful.
