i'm new with bower, and just encountered a weird issue with our build process (bower.json: gist.github.com/dylanlgs/8559989) the angular-ui-router package has stopped including the files in release/ and started including the files in site/

hi, is it possible to get a reference to an object with the object itself obj and the attributes in string form 'address.town.street' so that at the end it resolves obj.address.town.street
Having a file (let's call it script.js) with the following content:
console.log("Hello World!");
(so, one line with a console.log on it)
Runnning node script.js it outputs "Hello World!".
The problem is when I run node debug script.js. I get the following output:
$ node debug script.js
< d...
the values within are numerically indexed in the order they are added. And it has a length property that reflects the current number of values in the array... AND you can treat them like regular objects.
I really don't think it's necessary to start with "it's because joomla code is terrible," joomla tends to use single responsibility plus have a strong approach to making things overridable and makes things modular. I think having having a small number of overly complex and unreadable files is more terrivle. @bla2eOD I'm not sure what your last page is, you edit joomla by editing with the built in edit functions, the UI for the editor is no different than what you'd get editing a single "page." — Elin6 hours ago
@copy Lua optimizes tables with numeric keys only anyway. And does a pretty damn good job at this. I don't think it's a reasonable requirement for dynamicly-checked language, too.
@copy also Lua has this funky notation when you can write local a = Array { 1, 2, 3 }, where Array is just a function (in which you can put the line I wrote)

@copy now here's the deal (IMHO): either you are statically typed and you can infer the real collection type from that, or you're not and you write Array { 1, 2, 3 } instead of just { 1, 2, 3 }.

if you have something with position: absolute; and another div goes over it, how can you make sure the div that goes over it is the "active" div? As in, stuff below it is not selectable. I've tried setting up the z-index

I'm about to pull my hair out, I'm writing up a firefox extension as POC.. the issue is i'm stuck the most mundane thing... getting the toolbar icon to properly display. It seems to be loading in all of the icons in chrome://browser/content/browser.xulor something because the icon for the addon is all of the toolbar icons available.. anyone have any ideas?
How it currently works: Class is split up into teams. Each team writes out (in English) specific instructions to solve said problem. The teams switch instructions and implement the other team's solutions.

@Cicada3301 basically everytime you make an http request you send a bunch of headers and resolve the dns shit which takes a lot of time :P :P and thats where you call it latency . But in case of websocket the connection is held open like a pipe
whenver you have data on either side you can send / recieve. Read html5rocks about websockets.

As of 8-10-2013 : The point of library and support lacking for node.js has mostly disappeared infact due to libs like mean.io you can actually get yourself one up and running in matter or hours.
