to my understanding the font specifices the gylm in a single em, and then you defined the font layout inside that em with a unit of measurement. Though is there any general way for a specific pt size what the min max, range of the em the font uses?

For example, Georgia vs Times New Roman, Times New Roman uses less x-height than the Georgia.

question . if you request a html file via ajax is there a way to store what was called so if the user wants to load that page again instead of making another call for the html file its saved in js kinda like a cache ?
