I recently browsed this question about changing the appearance of an HTML select with CSS and HTML.
I was wondering when use JavaScript is an acceptable solution to a "how do I do X with HTML/CSS" question.

I have about 5 - 25 like url's on my page , I want to be able to find out if the user has already liked one. Right now I am doing something like

I have seen many examples for uploading files, like this.
But what I want is to upload an image (limit file's type to image), and then code the image to base64.
Sometimes, when CW answers are accepted, they're displayed like this in my reputation tab :
But sometimes, the acceptation isn't visible at all :
And then the only way for me to know if it was accepted is to go look at the question, which I don't find very convenient.
Is that a bug or is ...
