Well I might be able to use it for my senior design project which (hopefully) involves managing sensors on industrial machinery and sending cloud data, so that's one thing ha.

I tried to convince my friends to do a 'smart-gun' project with me using a fingerprint scanner to unlock it but they don't want to because 'it already exists' :|

You want to like automate a plant bed or something to water flowers and monitor health?

automate the lighting (LEDS) and water pumps that mist the roots with nutrients

RPi is also perfect for a media center

the gpu decoding works perfectly

and yeah add some sensors, temperature control, etc..

and you can have it be controlled by an Android app or have a demo app that demonstrates how it works and be educational
