I think this would work for the workshop

uses a lot of features from stdlib, processes both text and binary files, produces visually appealing output, leaves some wiggle room for individual implementation and is short enough

and most importantly turns taboo of 3D into something edible

the debugger seems to confirm that all (0,2), (1,0) and (2,1) pairs are present

I sort the x/y so order shouldn't matter

hmpfh the pixel pairs also seem okay

face data appears okay

IME it depends on the bike. I could do it without a problem with some bikes, not at all with others.
