I've let the dishes run away a little lately, but that's because my boiler is broken and I have to manually flick the immersion heater on like half an hour before I want hot water. It's really easy to not schedule that properly if you're hoping to spontaneously decide to quickly wash a few plates

The last few dishwashing sessions have been to catch up from a week or so of plates and cutlery -.-

Then again it's also easy to let that slide when the rest of the house needs attention anyway and nobody else will be entering it
