If you for some reason can't pull it from the source, go there in a webbrowser, download the .nupkg, put it in a folder like C:\NuGet, and set that folder as a feed in the package manager settings. Boom, available.

A console app has a reference to a framework class library. The console will run 100 instances or more in the server. Some code that has to run separately for each such instances are written in the library and not in the console application itself. Is it safe ?

If you're installing via VS, there's a drop-down in the top-right corner of the Nuget screen to choose the source.

If via command line, it should search all sources.

You can specify the source, though.

Or in visual studio go to package manager settings

@Sakthivel What's safe? If each console app will run in a separate process, then the different instances are entirely isolated from each other. Assuming, of course, the framework code doesn't access out-of-process resources like files on disk, which might have conflicts.

@AvnerShahar-Kashtan Files are assigned to these console application to process. 10 folders assigned to 10 console apps. They run, once done with the files the app will exit. They have nothing to do with the files in the middle of processing.

I was worried that my coworker written the file processing code(external library SDK) in the class library and not in the console app. I thought number of console apps != Number of ocr instances. I believed all the ocr implementation (SDK referring code) should be in console and not in library

@Sakthivel Splitting each processing task to a different process might be a good idea if you want to make them robust, ensure that bad code won't take down the entire system but only one process. But it has its drawbacks - harder to manage, takes more resources.

It's a trade-off.

yeah. It was a hiking shoe, and I haven't got the time for hiking for years in it. So I wandered around in a forest without soles and carrying around 2 really muddy soles in my hand (didn't want to just drop them)... Most of the time with a children on my shoulders

@Wietlol external sdk has an interface ITableBlock which represents a table but does not have any implementation for rows, columns if the table has headers (properties) etc. I want to have an adapter class (?) or somehow implement this interface and add functionalities like GetRows(ITableBlock block); etc..

every now and again my wife posts something on facebook and asks me to check it out, so I'll login, and from that point onwards, continual notifications from facebook until I logout again

really when you think about it, "logging in" isn't really a concept that exists anymore, at least not for facebook
