the issue I believe is that I am finding the geo location of a address and starting the new activity (while passing the geo location) on the same thread

the solution would be - find location on a different thread > wait for the thread to finish > get the location and then start the activity?

one of the new guys in my workplace asked me a question on how he can call a method from "this" class in "another" class. I told him to create an instance of the call and call the method from the instance. Another guy comes across and says - make it public static and call the name of the Class with the method... job done...
