am using firebase with transactions operation for decrementing the value in RealTime Db. How can i make it not decement value to NEGATIVE ?

@eLi have no idea man, haven't worked with realtimedb for quite some time, they used to have a lot of synchronization issues, maybe try going with cloud functions

@eski by static typing you mean code completion?

I mean how you are required to declare types in java/kotlin

groovy is "optionally" typed and so you never know what type something is

and tracing things around becomes hard

^ though that's a little misleading if you compare it to kotlin since kotlin can declare static types implicitly

for me it doesn't matter groovy or kotlin, everything I want to do I have to google it and even when I see the snippets they make no sense
