I have in designing comm. protocols MANY times used lookup tables where I send an index into that table. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN FASTER. If we look at PI as simply THAT lookup table, the problem is exactly what I have answered. Given a number x and a sorted list I need to find the number of elements less than or equal x in O(logn) where n is the size of array I am implementing binary search to return the index but it returns wrong index for some cases

Different instances of your template — say, B<int> and B<char> — are completely separate types, just like int and char are separate types. You can't have a single pointer that can point to either type of object unless you derive them both from the same base class, as in your example....

who's up for trollin' this answer saying that it is indeed possible, make a really big discussion out of it only to end it with saying either "use void*" or "you could point a pointer at anything you'd like, though using it will be UB"

@CatPlusPlus Sorry, I was a bit off for the past few days. The site is almost done, I'll put it up in a separate repo if anyone wants to rape his eyes with PHP.

I just have to cleanup some look experiments, sometimes I try a few directions, end up scrapping them and just removing references to the CSS styling.

Could be even useful for people to hack in their features, pushing it back and I could integrate it with the style of the Omegamadness.
