Ok: kicking & flagging is a reasonable way to maintain order in a room. But do remember, both implicitly ask mods to assist. Mods are busy; if your room is full of insults, vulgarity and nonsense then you're making what should be an easy task - imposing a long suspension on whoever is causing trouble - much more difficult than it needs to be.

From my understanding, it's not our normal behavior, it's the behavior when somebody needs to be kicked.

The person is trolled, fed, etc. The noise around it is all Shog means

Doesn't mean we can't joke about things with each other, just, when somebody is disrupting the room, remove them, and don't make a hassle about it

Anyway, point of posting that chart was to answer a question someone asked about why stuff happens here... Social communities tend to grow up to the point where they can no longer effectively manage themselves. Which varies a lot based on the strategies for self-governance, but almost always gets hit sooner or later - suddenly, old strategies break down. The more informal the strategy, the faster it breaks. And then all hell breaks loose. So... This is manageable, but only if you anticipate it.

Meh my boss didn't like depending on dynamically loading data from a third party, so while he agreed that I should use font-based icons he asked me "make them yourself then". At which point I prefer to just use images.

Might be worth checking out (as I said, I just didn't have done that, I'm not argueing against it). But can the icons me "moving gifs". - Ie what I use now as only imagery is a spinner followed by either a cross or a "checked" icon. Based on the backend result. -- I doubt font-awesome can be used to serve a moving thing like a spinner icon right?

I never realized how much I depend on inheritance underneath the hood of whatever language I'm using. I think that's my main hurdle with Rust; strongly typed without inheritance.

If he has the Sync 2 system, then yeah, I can see his axe to grind, that system is overall garbage.

Font awesome icons are too thick tbh

It was my biggest relief when learning python or c#. Inheritance just works in those languages.
