I used a GUI tool to configure APIs and file imports for our internal loyalty platform and I did not experience it very well lol. All proprietary tools so nothing I can really speak of. The platform is written in Java though.

I did not really, but I was on an internal subscription, could be different from the outside. But for Java apps it was more than enough

You just provision a machine, and a runtime (tomcat or Java liberty)

And you push your code through the CF command line

Pretty straight forward (no infra knowledge required)

If you stick with it only for deploying your Java APIs it's good. If you're looking for other stuff and services I wasn't really satisfied with it
