That percent error could be misleading as the question could still be closed but the close reason was changed. IDK if I know how to change that script to show you the reopened post.
Is this question really that opinion based? While the title sounds objective, the answer to the question is directly to the int that it usually doesn't matter for servers, and for clients you should use X, because else it won't work.
I still think it is POB. the first part of the answer has ChannelActive is recommended which means that is not the definitive way to do it but what people prefer is done. I would not vote to reopen.
Yes it discusses when to use each one but the only reason it gives to use the the first one is so you do not have a mistake if you port the code somewhere else. That to me is an opinion. If I want to use the other way I can and it works I just need to remember not to port it.
