I think the one box guidelines are unclear and need to be made clear and consistent, maybe only ROs can onebox? As the user one boxing a post will think they have a good reason and if every user did this, the chat could be flooded with one boxes.

@TinyGiant Oh, I meant that: What about ask user for a captcha confirm, if he only has 1 rep or it's his first post? If it's difficult to use script pass captcha, then probably these spammers can no longer post spam posts here.

@MsYvette As far as I'm concerned, if you're using it to provide a canonical post directly related to the current discussion in the room, one-boxing is ok, as long as it isn't a whole bunch of times in a day. If you're sharing a post for any other reason, don't one-box. That may differ for other ROs positions on the subject. If best judgement doesn't prove to be a good measure, then one-boxes will just be disallowed entirely.

We haven't had a problem with the one-boxing restriction until this point, and I would very much dislike it if we had to institute a hard restriction.

As I see it, if one hasn't earned some rep of n then their post goes in a holding cell for m minutes. If not disapproved in that time period it is freed. People staff it. Or if not, just call that the current system.

Very fast pace in and out. Like Fill or Kill in stock trading transactions (only longer). If it is good enough at first blush, a Good To Go button is hit. Let's say the time frame is 3 minutes for kicks.

Yesterday: Since I don't want to polute the mod pipe I'd like to know how vage a suspected voting fraud can be to be flagged. e.g.:
Lets assume you find an answer which get quickly upvoted though there are already two nearly identical answers. Taking a look to the userprofile and googeling for the company name let you find 3 user accounts on SO, one seemingly deleted the others are probably the same user. Would this be smelly enough to report or just paranoia.

Hm, if the accounts appear to be duplicates, flag it, and explain it. Voting fraud is hard to prove, but sockpuppets it a little easier.
