@JAL Jal you should be able to burninate the tag yourself. If you want to close the questions while you are doing it that is fine but you will need to spread them out as to not "spam" the room.

If you just ask whether or not it should be burned and then go off and burn it yourself then that is your prerogative but if the community feels that was not the correct thing to do the blame lies on you and not the room as the room did not participate in the burning.

@DavidG Yes that does but we(the room) can't stop individuals from acting on it even if it just discussion. The hope here is that if something does happen and there is backlash is that we can show all we were doing was discussing the merits of burninating the tag. If the user(s) went off and burned the tag the onus lies on them.

I am trying to use User Scripts but when I insert my reason and then click on set, it says "The chat room URL you supplied is invalid.". How can I solve that?

@NathanOliver I guess that's why I like the way it's set out in the room FAQ as it pushes all responsibility to meta and leaves no culpability on the room or us. Using meta as the source of what is valid and then organising the push from this room is a nice way to do it.
