I'm guessing something triggers the function, and it's not getting that trigger. Something in the HTML maybe like a directive. I have ng-app defined in the html tag, and an ng-view div that isn't getting the partial view.

binding works. I'm on 1.1.4 so I don't need the separate angular.route.js file that 1.2.0 needs.

I've been at this since yesterday morning.

@iroegbu If you're following name conventions, you won't get that issue. It states that fields should be in lowerCamelCase and properties in CamelCase, therefore making the names different.
