why is storing video in databases so bad? If its not for a website or any software that i want to distribute would it be efficient enough to load them out of it/watch them?
@KendallFrey well i'm just wondering if its on my personal computer, not meant to be distributed, will it work? I've read on certain questions that I should store the path and not the actual video, but i want to store the actual video
i'm going to be frank, when friends, or females come over and use my computer, i don't want them to find my 100 gigs of porn and think i'm a freak - which is why i dont want to store it on the file system (yeah the db is on a file system, but you know what i mean)
and i thought it would be a fun project to play around with wpf
@Steve - What database engine are you using? A lot of free ones have max db sizes of about 4 gigs so if you store videos in them you'll hit that pretty quickly.
i'd really like to make an application - like a video player with each movie in a list box with the thumb nail with wpf, i seen an example of that and it looked fun

@Steve I remember watching a video about one trying to use the bathroom at a mcdonalds and she got in a fight and got beaten up by a group of girls. It sucks and it might be creepy, but it is not like they enjoy it :/

@Nadal it is very dependent on tolerance. You build both chemical and psychological tolerance to alcohol through using it, it's very easy to overdo it to start with

haha i dont! i don't even text, its just sitting there, and all of my gps and blue tooth are off... it just started doing this the other day, i'm going to let it sit and charge for a very long time and if that doesn't help things i think its time for a new battery

Well, in order to implement a system with Authorization and Authentication (Auth & Auth) you must have a membership system in place. This way, you can assign your users roles and then define their access based on those roles.
