@Hrushikesh you have your applications view which is loaded like this: [self.window addSubview:self.tabBarController.view];, so now you have to add a view to your tabBarController.view like this: [self.tabBarController presentModalViewController:self.loginController animated:YES];

Are you allowed to run a GLLocation manager in the background, ive tested and it works but does anyone know apples stance on doing this ? It doesnt seem very resource friendly to me.

I got 10 views on main UIView with Buttons and Images on top of each single view, I managed to populate the ImageViews with remote Images, but I want to fit that Image on that entire screen, What I mean is fill the 10 variable views with Images. Any pointers please. Thanks.

The company is looking at a deep dive into iOS development, we're a Microsoft shop. I've been loaded up with a Mini, Enterprise License, and instructions to get cracking. Any recommendations for "Enterprise" development (books, websites, etc...)? Also, aside from xcode, what's in your toolkit?
Performing tasks on secondary threads are typically for data dealing stuff's, which has nothing to do with the UI. The steps are usually - update the UI before starting the asynchronous operation (like activity indicator display, etc), perform the asynchronous operation and when it's done, it will give a call back so start making use of the data and update the UI again (remove the activity indicator, etc)
@FadedinShadows in short words, do NO UI things in the dispatch_async block, all UIChanges outside of that, i have understand that. but my array is still getting empty
@brush51 Can't see if the array gets modified in those lines of code. Are you sure the array isn't getting modified in the method that are called from the dispatch block and also in any other methods that gets called from those methods?
@brush51 In you have fewer occurrences of that array in your entire code, you can put a breakpoint at all those occurrences and see if you land up at any of them after the dispatch block gets executed. Little lengthy but might help you.

I am not sure how your code is designed, what you are trying to accomplish. All I was pointing out earlier when you said NO UI using dispatch_async was wrong.. you can always dispatch UI updates to main_queue.
What is the first line of your code - [self performSelectorOnMainThread:
Does that block of code you showed us after "------adding black view" is running on separate thread ?
If its running on main thread why are you doing [self performSelectorOnMainThread:...

@owengerig i dont care about the money, but sorry i have not much knowledge with that, otherwise i would help. recently i am also facing audio problems. want to stop audioqueue but cant get them to work.

I'm using xcode storyboard 4.3. THe problem is I have a ui tab bar controller, with 4 tabs. I have a list view and the list view segues to the tab bar controller. Now automatically a back button displays on the ui navigation item of the tab bar controller. The problem is I tried adding a bar button item to one of the four controllers that has a relationship to the tab bar controller.
