Sure, if antimatter was easy/cheap to produce, it could be an efficient way to convert matter to energy. However, the ability to create it easily/cheaply would create a host of problems.

Let me quote myself: " the most efficient way of extracting energy from matter", not "producing anti-matter".

There are chemical reactions, burning the material, nuclear processes and black holes. All under 42% of efficiency. Anti-matter + matter = 100% of efficiency.

Hmmm... that makes it clear that I should make sure it's possible that you can still have FIRE raise flags via the SE API even though someone isn't authorized for SD feedback.
