By the time it's 6 years old, you're no longer worried about the OP. How can the value in the answers help more people? (Hint: not by closing the question.)

The question could be edited to be more on-point, and to better lead into the good answers.

@AshishAhujaツ If it was a brand new question, and there was some hope that the OP would improve their question, a downvote (and more helpfully, a comment) could make that happen. But on an old question like this, a downvote is not going to change anything. If it was a really bad question attracting really bad answers, then it would be worth closing. Otherwise, it's causing no harm, so ignore it.

You could write a comment under another post from him and tell him that he can undelete it and we will take care of the crap answer.

No it's first time and I think that user being member from today itselt.

As I said in comments, if this is first time, just flag as rude or abusive and move on. it'll be automatically removed after few flags.

So if it is the first time then it is probably just coincidence that you got that answer on your question. Just flag as abusive / rude.

That user in particular has been spamming abuse - their account was nuked and it was remade (from memory it was very similar name, same kinds of posts)

We saw the answer but just after it was reported, the question was deleted so we couldn't flag it for you

And now it's deleted again and we can't flag it, again...

It already has a bunch of spam flags, and I lodged a custom one since it was a re-created account
