who would ever want to multiply a string with a number?

@Tunaki they don't want... is just a hack to know if it's a number

So it may be a weird statement to handle all non-numeral values by turning them to NaN

if it's a number then continue with stuf

I'm going through c now but am checking guidelines periodically to see if any of Tuna's flags show up

c# question, viewed 2 times since 3 hours ago... one of them was for a close vote

It's not really a design question. It's asking if the code is okay "Is this prone to some errors?". And for something to be POB on CodeReview, you would really need to be asking "Tabs or spaces"?

I still haven't seen a single question closed as POB there. (Granted it's not a long time but still)

@Kyll Hm.... I can't see why they would. We give them ample time, the benefit of the doubt, comments... etc. the whole 9 yds., and they expect a magic answer to appear. That won't happen. We can't be wearing kids gloves if they expect to be treated as professionals.

@MartinJames Believe me, I hold back on a lot of stuff. I go passed most of the "best of the worse" questions and don't even bother commenting. I like to pick and choose the good questions or the ones that show some effort and/or a will to learn. Not just throwing them a piece of meat and feed them hungry little souls till the next time.
