Something I actually do hate with the current point system is that if I, the JavaScript/Meteor afficionado, want to access more advanced moderation tools because that's what I do most on SO, I'll have to repwhore a bunch. There's pretty much no recognition at all for moderation (which I am very fine with and grateful for) but I'm also stuck with no delete votes and unable to view deleted posts unless I whore some points.

Where an image helps improve the understanding of a post, it's welcome. (Even animated gifs - despite Drew's objection, I've only used a couple ever, and it was to demonstrate operations that were difficult to describe in words.) But any image which serves only as comic relief should be axed. (There is a Meta post about Memes on posts...)
