There is an array of 1000 items holding random numbers from 1 - 1000. numbers are shuffled, not in order there is no duplication now if I replace a number at some place with 0, how am I going to find the original number replaced?

I have an array of 1000 items. Random arranged numbers (array is not sorted). There is no duplicate number as well. If I replace a number at random position with zero, how am I going to find the original number replaced?
