Hello all , I am having an issue that I have two apps,one is mine and second one is copy of it but with different pacakage name .Every thing is common in both apps except package name .Can it cause any kind of issue ?
see you are getting the notification from your server, server have the token of previous app, your app need to again register in the google server and send the token back to your local server then only you will get the correct notifications
you are not understanding, notification mean you are listening to a certain thing its fine with above code that you are sending a notification to a certain id. But where you register this id that is listening to get a notification.
iAnum, the wiki seems to have pretty good info. Other than that, do look at the code of the apps that they reference, that should help you a lot, i think
this is just a preferences UI! even when working on pieces of an OS (linux kernel), I experiment with the code, approaches etc. ofcourse, in this kinda case, I wouldn't keep critical data on that same machine
@iAnum, you can probably subclass PSDetailController itself and only handle the specific stuff that you need
but anyway, understand the relation between all these components, bundle, specifiers, detail controller etc. That will help you figure out the correct code
I suggested a possible solution, more than once, but you are ignoring that. I also tried to explain why your current approach or thinking doesn't work.
