passed it to image loader and got exactly same error

that is the correct way to do it, but something is amiss here. maybe the lib is doing something odd or your code, the part which didn't share

try to use %20 in the url string itself and see if that does anything. Else, look at what that imageloader method is doing

And the error is same that I posted in question

radical I debug using this code and the link finally made was with %20

I even tried replacing all spaces with %20

you are doing A, telling me that you are doing B, but telling me the results from A

imgL.displayImage(url.toString(), icon, options);

hard code the url here, with %20 and then check

And other than that, please debug. i can't spend more time on this
