@OlegValter Guaranteed??? Probably not. However, I know that SE has, at least in the past, tried to make sure that all elections are complete well prior to when they routinely see a slump in network traffic. I don't know the exact dates off the top of my head, but, IIRC, they try to avoid December and January.
OTOH, SE could certainly guarantee for themselves that there will be a break during a specific period.

@Smitop You are not eligible to nominate yourself in the election as you do not have at least 3000 reputation. You are also missing the required badges: Convention, Deputy, Strunk & White. Your candidate score is 8 (out of 40).
You may get it work if you use a helper. Then all you need to do it stand on the chair holding the bulb in place while the helper turns you. It's a hack, and I don't advice it unless you're a trained chair-stander.
@Makyen honestly, it's less about network traffic and more about CM availability. We have elections wrap up before Thanksgiving (US) and start up again in January.

He was, apparently, elected as a moderator, but long before the current election system.
But that means he could apply for reinstatement as a moderator through the normal process. He has indicated that he might. But the process takes quite a while, and usually people wait a bit before even applying.

@ᕮ_ᑎᕮT4 It's easy to say that it's discriminatory against ghosts but it has a practical reason - ghosts as incorporeal beings cannot click buttons and thus cannot handle flags. Poltergeists can influence the world like throwing a chair at the keyboard.
Since the questionnaire is almost entirely pointless given the leading nature of most of its questions, I encourage voters to go through the user's reviews, answers, and comments to get a sense of their EQ as a moderator
@cs95 That's what I'm doing in the RPG.SE election. The only other election currently I'm eligible to vote in. I'm not that well acquainted with the candidates and the questionnaire is similarly useless. I check their stats and their meta participation to base my decision around.
