and is intended to be a proxy to AWS SNS

after which, AWS Lambda will continue processing your commands

the proxy will use AWS SNS as communication to the actual executions and a BkTree to fuzzy match keywords

Simple Notification Service

its an external event system

hosted by AWS

normally, I would program, in the application, a collection of listeners

then, when I execute the event, I iterate over those listeners and call the "onStuff" function

this would all be in one application

now, I simply publish an event to SNS

then I am done

AWS Lambda applications can register to the SNS topics

and they will be executed

this lowers the pressure on the bot

and makes it be able to handle many more commands much faster

Can even make it rebuilt the container on push for auto-deploy, although then you'll have to save the active rooms to the db...
