@RobertGrant No I'm just sayin'. I don't have much of an idea how to fix the current system other than what-ifs, so I don't feel strongly either way. It's more of "you should brace yourself for some backlash" thing. There is a lot that can go wrong with such a feature request.

The relevant point is whether these emotions, definitely existing in a few individual people, can be a reason to modify discourse for everyone and to what extent.

@Magisch thanks for standing up; I also took care of the offending comment. In a larger sense, there are many facets to participation. I rarely answer or question any more but I vote, edit, and moderate a lot. And moderation actions are not always visible in user activity

Open question: should this room have a similar "no piling on" policy just like SOCVR has? On the one hand - you should be free to "discover" things on your own, but if it happens repeatedly that people hanging out in this room start to respond to linked things at the same time, it looks bad.

I just noticed a lack of consensus regarding duplicates to Meta questions about audits.

Claims were made here that a meta question about a failed audit should only be closed as a duplicate of a question regarding the exact same audit. However, I couldn't find any meta question imposing this rule, and there are plenty of closed questions which do not observe it.
