@user3386109 this won't be a good idea simply because you may use wrong tags (which happen all the time) so you can edit to correct (or someone else do it for you). You can also omit some relevant tag and decide to add them later to make your question more visible. A lot of cases where editing tags is a legit action so it's difficult to moderate. — Temani Afif 17 secs ago

@TemaniAfif Yes, but all of the tag editing should occur fairly soon after the question is posted, and nowhere near the two day wait period before offering a bounty. And the only downside to a legit tag edit is that it delays the bounty offer up to two more days. Making the question more visible with better tags may even be enough to get the question answered, avoiding the need for a bounty. — user3386109 8 secs ago
