Hi anyone knows that if I have installed the app from the market and then using system generated apk of the same app to install on same device..will it allow?

@AshishJain If it is the same package and certificate

If it isn't the same package it is treated as a different app, if the certificate isn't the same the original app has to be uninstalled

If the versions are the same the system doesn't see it as a change and ignores it

And if you're trying to change a system APK, the system will block you (root is a different issue though, unrooted devices will block it)
