we programmed Mario in school once :P We were done with the stuff that would be asked for in the final exam of the high school and still had one semester left. We had the choice to go over all the stuff to learn again or write a program of our choice. Half of the class learned and the other wrote code ^^
A friend of mine and I programmed a very basic version of Mario with a level builder :D

That thing is absolutely horrible and looks like shit (the GUI) but it plays great! We got 15 points on it (highest possible) :D

I still got the code in Pascal and will probably once take the time and rewrite it in Java. My friend pixeled everything on his own in paint :D blocks, background, mario and gumbas ^^
